Wozniacki and Clijsters top two seeds at US Open 2010
Caroline Wozniacki of Denmark and defending champion Kim Clijsters of Belgium are the top two seeds at this year's US Open.
Wozniacki has been elevated to the top position due to the withdrawl of current world number one Serena Williams who has not recovered from a foot injury that has kept her out of action since Wimbledon.
Defending champion Clijsters will be looking to successfully defend the title she won in spectacular fashion last year in winning the first major tournament she entered since her return to professional tennis last summer after a 2 year hiatus.
Venus Williams and Jelena Jankovic make up the top four seeds.
