Wozniacki storms through to third round
Top seed Caroline Wozniacki wasted no time today on another hot day in New York as she double-bagelled her opponent Chang Kai-chen to reach the third round.
Runner up last year to Kim Clijsters, Wozniacki barely broke a sweat and looked to have a point to prove in justifying her top seed position.
The 20-year-old Dane wrapped up the match in just 47 minutes on Arthur Ashe court 6-0 6-0.
The world number two's first real test could come in the fourth round where she is due to meet former world number one and former champion here at Flushing Meadows, Maria Sharapova.
