Into a third set between Azarenka and Radwanska.

Neither held serve well in the first set, Azarenka broke in the first game, but after a few more breaks Radwanska won in a tiebreak.

Azarenka won the second set 6-0 but it was not a terrible set from Radwanska (except for the score) or a a truly brillant one from Azarenka.

Azarenka is up 3-1 in the third looks like she's on top now, but it is possible for Radwanksa to come back.

Radwanska broke back but then hit some dodgy shots to get broken again

Radwanska had break points but Azarenka holds 5-2

True, Liam, but they won't necessarily currently hold a slam, they may just be a former slam winner, which is an improvement, but not what we are ideally looking for...

(I'm thinking of the potential scenario where Clijsters wins the tourney by beating Sharapova in the final, in which case Sharapova would be no.1)
