Thanks to those who played this Aus Open's mini-predictions. Compared to previous contests this was a pretty high-scoring affair - not only due to the mens' later stages going to form, but also there were some well-picked 1st round seeded losses and nearly everyone got the 5 point gift of Serena winning the Ace Count yet again!

A good win for Vivahate, winning by 10 points from BigAl and at the other end of the table, Fah51 just avoids the turkey which goes to LiamValid instead (that risky Tsonga prediction didn't pay off!)

1. Vivahate 220 (110 for ATP, 110 for WTA) - well done, a great performance and excellent score!
2. BigAL 210 (135 for ATP, 75 for WTA) - not far behind in runner up spot, just needed a few more points in the womens contest
3. MrInvisible 205 (125 for ATP, 80 for WTA) - too much faith in Del Potro let me down!
4 = Nevets (140 for ATP and 50 for WTA) and Northernlight (120 for ATP, 70 for WTA) 190
6. Mojoworking 180 (105 for ATP, and 75 for WTA)
7. Fah51 175 (115 for ATP, and 60 for WTA)
8. LiamValid 170 (90 for ATP, and 80 for WTA)

Proves as I thought, that I'm much better at predicting daily individual matches than whole tournaments. I guess I don't do percentages very well I also think with daily predictions I am more likely to go with head rather than heart

i normally do well in this comp but tsonga and serena losing early destroyed me!!

I thought I'd done pretty well by picking Hewitt to be one of the beset qualifiers and Wicky to be an earyl seeded casualty - but am pretty certain that my predictions for the latter stage of the tournament were pretty rubbish.
